Some of Saskatoon’s premier businesses are amongst our corporate clients and we are privileged to oversee many annual events. I understand that in connecting with other people in your industry or with clients and suppliers, or perhaps staff members that you want to thank, it is your reputation that is on the line. So I give each event my undivided personal attention to make sure everything goes smoothly and impresses where it needs to.
Whether it is a simple, stylish dinner party you’re looking for or a grand event requiring its own branding, entertainment, elaborate décor, guest accommodation and transportation, Lux Events will make sure it is perfect–from start to finish.
Christian Braid says “Planning large or small events takes tremendous patience and an incredible attention to detail; two qualities I do not possess. When the Chamber of Commerce decided that our Celebrate Success event had grown to a size where we needed help, Molly Lux stood above the crowd. Molly possesses the ability to truly understand the vision for the event through careful consultation. By understanding the vision she is then able to execute the details to create a spectacular final product. We were thrilled to have partnered with Molly Lux for our Celebrate Success event and would strongly recommend her expertise for your next event.”
The design concept was ‘Frank Sinatra’ and so the room was designed with a very classic/vintage feel.
Dan says “I had the opportunity of working extremely close with Molly and her event management team for our Fall Affair Event. The level of professionalism and attention to detail I received was outstanding. They treated our event with the highest level of service and I was confident that she and her team had a huge impact into making this event extremely successful.”
The theme of this event was “Local Food, Global Wine”. All our chefs used local ingredients and the wine was paired perfectly with the food. We needed to connect the space that Cava Caffe owned at the time, with the main room of the Farmers’ Market. I accomplished this by having the lighting, décor, booths and carpet consistent between the two spaces. In the larger Farmers’ Market space, I hired a great Jazz Band called A Side of Groovy, which gave that room an upbeat feel. In the smaller Caffe space, I had a pianist from Saskatoon Opera play all night for a more intimate feel. The guests enjoyed the high quality service and atmosphere that Cava was known for.

Karen Low says “Thanks in large part to Molly’s talents, our first SCAE event was a tremendous success in every way, from the design and decor to the smooth flow of the evening program. Molly had a ton of great ideas and the connections to bring our vision to life….all within our budget!”
The evening needed to have a laid-back feel in keeping with the ethos of the construction industry. We wanted the décor to be creative and unique to give credit to the innovative open shop contractors in the room so we decorated each table with a custom, industry-specific centrepiece, which the guests absolutely loved. The industry is buzzing with anticipation for next year’s awards event.
Jessica Gilmartin says “I worked with Molly on a launch party for my client, a new fitness studio in Palo Alto, CA. I was incredibly impressed with both the quality of her work and her professionalism. We needed to bring in everything, food, drink, tables, chairs, linens. She made the room look beautiful; it was a tremendous success.”
We wanted to create an atmosphere for the launch party that was casual and laid back with good food and drink (of course). The main focus was to entice Uforia’s new and potential clients to come and view the space and talk to the owners and fitness instructors.
