Lacey + Kurt
There’s nothing quite like beautiful weather on a wedding day. Lacey & Kurt know this all too well, as their late August wedding saw nothing but clear skies and sunshine. And what better way to take advantage of beautiful weather than with a beautiful venue! The Bessborough Gardens featured a natural aisle and large wooden arch, perfect additions to an already elegant space. One of our favourite ceremony details was a tribute to loved ones who have passed away: chairs were reserved for these individuals using their favourite single stem flowers – a simple, yet eloquent gesture.
Following their ceremony, Lacey & Kurt shared a glass of champagne with their guests in the Gardens before ducking out to take formals. (Keep an eye out for their furriest family member!) Just before returning, the newlyweds took a few moments to enjoy a private horse drawn carriage ride. What a great way to take in the day!
The celebration continued in the Battleford Ballroom at the Delta Bessborough. In accordance with the day’s theme, the head table was dressed with a gorgeous white rose garland, and the bride and groom’s chairs with special floral ties. White rose centrepieces, gold chiavari chairs, and soft uplighting completed the overall look of the evening. We loved the carefree yet classy feel of this late August wedding, almost as much as we enjoyed working with this carefree and classy couple. Congratulations, Lacey & Kurt!
